Never A Dull Moment

About a month ago Olivia rolled over during tummy time. We actually thought it was a fluke and rolled her back over, only to have her roll over again. We were quite impressed and her doctor was, too! Then, several weeks went by without another roll. I've always said Olivia does everything in her own time. This just proved that to be even more true. Last night during tummy time she rolled over eight times. She wouldn't stay on her stomach for anything. OK, Olivia, we know who's boss! ;)

"What? I don't need oxygen anymore?!"  Oh, happy day, Livi Bain! We had a trial run this past weekend without her oxygen and she was a little rockstar! We are so proud of our little girl. It feels so weird having a baby without any wires attached. We can walk to any room in our house without having to worry about the 25 feet of tubing. YAY! I think its safe to say she's pretty happy its gone, too!

One month ago last Thursday we brought Olivia home! What a fun month it has been... I'm already saddened by how fast time is flying. I think because of everything that happened this year, I'm hyper-aware of how quickly life can change and I'm cherishing every single moment I spend with her. I keep seeing pictures of kids starting pre-k and kindergarten and its breaking my heart. Dear time, please slow down! I know I say it in every post but... Olivia is the sweetest baby. She does still show that feisty side when she gets hungry - she can go zero to 100 in under a minute. ;) It is impressive and usually just makes us laugh. She eats and sleeps like a champ. At her doctor's appointment two weeks ago she weighed 6 pounds 12 ounces. We had a follow-up on Friday and she weighed 7 pounds 9 ounces and was 19.5 inches long. We got to turn her oxygen down to the lowest setting and he discontinued her apnea/brady monitor. We were encouraged by her doctor to limit our out...

A real update is coming soon! Time is flying by as we settle into life at home with Olivia. She's absolutely perfect and lights up our days. Can't wait to share more about her in the next few days! In the meantime, here are a few pictures... A glimpse of our girl at FOUR months!
